The AssemblyName is the name of the SQL Server assembly where the UDT is defined, and the FullyQualifiedTypeName is the name of the .NET type that implements the UDT, including the namespace that it belongs to. You can verify that these records are present using the DNS Management Console, or using the nslookup command-line utility. nslookup is a utility built into Windows 2000/XP/2003 that you can use to troubleshoot DNS from the command line. The biggest issue you will now face is if you are going to use multiple instances on a cluster: the reality is that to have security for each instance, you must use separate domain accounts and groups for each instance. So if you plan on having four instances of SQL Server on your cluster, each with SQL Server, SQL Server Agent, and Full-Text Search, that is twelve groups and eight accounts. In my experience, it is hard enough to get one dedicated service account, let alone more than that. You must work with your security administrators to implement security that both protects your server and data, and fits into your corporate security standards.
