At this point, we depart the physical Ogre resource storage concerns and concentrate instead on the logical organization of Ogre resources. The last set of code generated by the wizard is the largest set, the classes. Starting with the core of the model is the class that inherits from System.Data.Objects.ObjectContext. Listing 5-5 shows the AdventureWorksEntities partial class, the context class that you use to manipulate and work with the entities in your model. Resource Loading Resources are loaded, if not already preloaded, when accessed. This access occurs most often deep within Ogre; for instance, when an entity is created, its mesh, material, and any skeleton are referenced (which loads them), and any GPU programs, textures, and/or fonts needed to render the entity are referenced (and loaded) as well. The actual loading and unloading of a resource is delegated to the resource itself. The reason is that not all resources of a given type might come from the same place, or even from an archive. Manual Resource Loading Ogre supports the notion of a manual resource loader (as opposed to loading automatically from disk using the operating system API or from an archive file using its particular API).
