Configuring TCP/IP Port Affinity One of the new features in SQL Server 2005 is the ability to create TCP/IP endpoints. Usually, these endpoints are used to host native Web services; however, they can also be used to configure additional Tabular Data Stream (TDS) endpoints for use with normal client communication.
